BIDCHAIN

BIDCHAIN · Season rules

Rank is what you paid.

That sentence is the whole product, and this page is the long version of it. If anything below is unclear, treat the disclosure at the end as the binding statement.

What this board is

BIDCHAIN sells advertising placement. Companies pay to appear high on a public list, the amount each has paid is shown next to it, and nothing else affects the order.

Rankings reflect payment only. A higher position means a company paid more for placement this season. It is not an endorsement, a review, or a rating, and nothing here is financial or investment advice.

We do not review products for quality, we do not test claims a company makes about itself, and we have no opinion on whether you should buy from anyone listed here. A high position means one thing: that company paid more than the others this season.

How the order is decided

Position is total valid payment this season, highest first. There is no editorial score, no quality score, no engagement weighting and no algorithm beyond that sum.

  • Every settled payment a company makes this season is added together. That total is its rank.
  • Equal totals are separated by whichever company reached the amount first, so a tie is never broken by us.
  • Rank is recalculated from payments every time the board is read. Nothing is stored, so a correction fixes the board by itself.
  • A company that has not paid this season is not on the board at all — not ranked last, and not shown without a number. Being able to buy a position is not the same as holding one; only a settled payment gives a company a place, so every company you can see here paid to be here.
  • A refund or an open dispute removes the payment from the total, and a company whose total returns to nothing leaves the board until it pays again. Totals reset when the season ends, so a new season starts empty for everybody.

Buying a position

  • Positions start at $5. Any whole-dollar amount at or above that is accepted.
  • You may pay any amount you like. Paying less than the company above you is allowed — it simply places you where that amount places you.
  • Payments are cumulative within a season. Paying again adds to your total rather than replacing it.
  • A position lasts for the season it was bought in. Seasons do not roll over, and nothing is auto-renewed.
  • Anyone can pay more and take your position at any time. That is the mechanism, not a fault in it.

What may be listed

A listing has to be a real business with a working website, and the description has to say what the company actually builds.

  • The site must load and describe a genuine product or service.
  • The description must be about what you do, not about what a token might be worth.
  • One listing per domain.
  • You must be entitled to represent the company you are submitting.

What may not be listed

This list is not exhaustive, and moderation is at our discretion.

  • Investment solicitation of any kind — token sales, presales, funds, yield offers, or anything promising a financial return.
  • Fraud, phishing, impersonation of another company or person, or copied branding.
  • Sites whose purpose is obscuring the origin of funds.
  • Malware, drive-by downloads, or pages that attack the visitor.
  • Illegal content, and content that is illegal to advertise where we operate.
  • Deceptive descriptions — a pitch that describes a product the site does not offer.

Being refused is not an accusation. Most rejections are ordinary: an unreachable site, a duplicate domain, or a description we could not match to a product.

Moderation, and being removed

There is no queue to wait in. A company can be added and can pay for a position straight away, and we moderate what is on the board rather than gate what may enter it.

  • Any listing can be taken down at any time if it breaks the rules above — including one that has already paid. A listing we take down is off the board immediately and cannot bid.
  • We do not check a company before it pays, and paying is not a claim by us that a company is legitimate. Position means the amount paid and nothing else.
  • A listing we take down stays down. Its domain cannot be added again by resubmitting it — putting a company back on the board is our decision, and the way to ask is to contact us.
  • We may correct an obviously wrong category or a typo rather than take a listing down over it.
  • One listing per domain, and we do not verify who owns it. If a company has been added by someone who should not have, tell us and we will take it down.

Money, refunds and reversals

  • A payment only counts once the payment provider confirms it. Until then it affects nothing.
  • A refunded or charged-back payment stops counting, and the board corrects itself immediately — including everyone whose position depended on it.
  • If we remove a listing for breaking these rules, we are not obliged to refund a position it already holds.
  • Amounts are in US dollars. What you see on the board is what was paid, not what was invoiced or what it cost us.

Clicks

Where a click count is shown it is a real count of visits sent from this board, de-duplicated per visitor per day. It is not a popularity score, it does not affect rank, and it is never estimated. If we cannot count something honestly, we do not display a number for it.

Links to a company pass through a counting redirect on this site before reaching them. What that records is the listing, the day, and a one-way hash of your network address that is re-salted every day — so the same visitor on two days cannot be recognised as one person, by us or by anyone holding the data. No IP address, user agent or cookie is stored, and nothing here follows you to another site.

Changes

These rules can change between seasons. The disclosure shown at the moment of payment is versioned and recorded with that payment, so a later edit here cannot change what someone already agreed to.
